‘LSD made that judgmental world around me completely disappear’

‘I unquestionably did fit in the “game nerd” stereotype until I was 24 years old. I was always gaming. My friends and I held game sessions that could last for days. In the game scene, taking drugs was   pretty normal. Everyone took drugs to stay awake, it was just part of the deal. I don’t know any better than little mirrors laying all over the table with white lines on them.   At first, I did not want anything to do with drugs myself. I was able to play games for 48 hours without sleeping, and I could easily survive it with just some energy drinks. And besides that, I wasn’t working at all at the time, so I thought cocaine was just way too expensive.   Finally, I decided to go to a festival called “Psy Fi”. This festival is known for the use of psychedelics. That’s why I did truffles there for the first time. This was a great experience. After the festival I was definitely not holding back in my drug use, if I look back at that period of time in my life.

The creative side of psychedelics is by far the thing that attracts me the most about it. Psychedelics give you the opportunity to dive even further into your own mind, which is fascinating. I am a very calculated person by nature; I think about literally every possible scenario that could arise. Psychedelics take that calculated side of me away. It allows me to experience the moment as it is and feel emotions to the core. ‘

When I take acid, my childlike curiosity comes back. I started to re-evaluate everything mentally, in a surprisingly nice way. I used to be very anxious in the past. I was always concerned about what people might think of me. LSD made the judgmental world around me disappear. It has allowed me to overcome my inner battle surrounding shame. Now that my shame is gone, I just preform on the street without any shame at all. I dance and I am therefore also a performer. I would never have dared to do this without LSD.
